Hair loss is one of the most common problems while it is a natural phenomenon so there is no need to worry about it. There can be many causes of hair loss which include diet, mineral deficiency, medications, stress pollution and genetics. In this article we will study how to prevent hair loss.

 Every problem has a solution so same with hair loss there are also solution or preventions by which we can reduce our hair loss.

Washing your hair-

One of the most important ways is regularly washing your hair with shampoo in case of boys. In case of girls it can be twice or thrice a week.

Increasing protein in our diet

The second way which by which we can prevent hair loss is by increasing protein in our diet like meat, fish, egg or other protein which promotes hair health.

  Massage your scalp ­-

The third way is to massage your scalp with oil for a couple of minutes because massaging the scalp helps the hair follicles to remain active.

  Avoid brushing your hair-

The fourth way is to avoid brushing your hair because when hair are wet they are in there weakest state. So avoid brushing wet hair because the chances of hair loss increases. But if anyone has to comb wet hair they can use a wide tooth comb. Also avoid brushing hair too frequently as doing so can injure hair and increase loss.

Drink water-

Water is important for our body as well as for our hair growth so we should drink at least 4 to 8 cups of water in a day to stay hydrated and for the growth of healthy hair. We should know what is bad for our hair and what is good. So if you want to keep your hair healthy, you must know how to take care of them let the hair dry naturally don’t use a dryer.

Reduce Alcohol intake-

 If someone is experiencing hair loss then one of the reason can be alcohol intake so they should reduce drinking alcohol because alcohol reduces hair growth.

Avoid smoking cigarettes

Another prevention can be avoiding smoking cigarettes because they cause reduction in hair growth.

Physical activity

Next can be doing physical activity everyday. Walking at least 30 minutes a day helps in balancing hormones and reducing stress levels as well as hair loss.

Don’t take more stress-

Taking more stress also causes hair loss so reduce your stress level by practicing meditation and yoga. They not only reduce stress but restores hormonal balance.

Avoid constant heating-

 Another prevention is to avoid constant heating and drying of hair because they lead to weakening of hair proteins. Next prevention is to keep our head sweat free. Because during summer there is a lot of sweat in our hair due to which there are chances of hair fall.

  Use natural shampoos

One should use natural shampoos for their hair. If a person has dandruff then use anti dandruff shampoo because dandruff causes hair loss.

Wear scarf over head while driving –

Also men who wear helmet experience major hair loss in summer as the sweat accumulate in the head so it weakens the roots of the hair. So while travelling men should wear a scarf over their head or a handkerchief to prevent hair loss.

Style of your hair

Also the style of your hair affects your hair because if we make tight hairstyle like ponytails, braids so they pull your hair so tightly that can cause hair loss . W e should opt that hairstyle in which our hair are loosened up. Taking care of our hair also reduces our hair loss because health problems can cause hair loss like high fever and infection.

  Avoid using hair colour

Also one should apply good shampoo to their hair and avoid using hair colour which damage your hairs. When someone is experiencing hair loss it is advised not to colour your hair because it reduces the level of hair in your head.

Medicines –

One should also keep a check on medication because some medicines have side effects. It can cause hair loss so see the medicine’s effects before using it. Taking vitamin A in our diet also increase the rate of our hair growth so start taking vitamin A like sweet potato, spinach etc.

Hormonal changes –

Hair fall can also be caused due to hormonal changes like pregnancy, menopause or childbirth. So one should didn’t take tension if they are reducing their hair during all the above mentioned changes because it is a natural phenomena and it will stop after sometime. But if it doesn’t stops consult your doctor.
